Apostrophe: Poem and Punctuation

Here is a sidebar post to our current call for submissions about the apostrophe (and cento form).

The apostrophe poetry form might be confused with the punctuation mark apostrophe that indicates missing letters or the possessive case. As I was writing this month's writing prompt, I wondered if there was any connection between the two uses of the word. Surely, it couldn't be just a coincidence. It turns out there are connections both in etymology and sense.

I wrote a post about it on another blog that deals with etymologies and origins.
Check it out at  WHY NAME IT THAT?
